Indoor percussion (also known as winter percussion or indoor drumline) is a performing arts activity that takes the percussion and front ensemble sections of a marching band or drum corps and brings them indoors for a specialized, theatrical stage show.

GCCIP auditions will be held on November 13 (Friday night) and November 14 (all day). With a two day audition, students will get a feel on how a rehearsal time can go and get experience with our staff.

Our 2027 interest meting will be on Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2026 at South Gibson County High School Band Room at 6pm. At this meeting, our directors will update you with all the information for the upcoming season. Parents are also encouraged to ask questions and learn more about the indoor percussion world.

The GCCIP season tuition will be calculated and the price will be announced at a later time.

Tuition will cover the following:Equipment costs (sticks, heads, mallets, drum wraps)Travel (gas)Props/FloorSCGC tuition *optional: Member jacket

After auditions and recieving a contract, rehearsals will only be 2 days a week. The rehearsal day depends on what is happening within the week.Regular rehearsal weeks (no shows): Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5p-9pFull Camp weekends:No rehearsal throughout the week. Rehearsal ONLY on Friday night (5p-9p) & ALL DAY Saturday (8a-8p).Show weekends:Tuesday Night (5p-9p) and Friday night (5p-9p)*Note: Instruction ends at 9p. We then have to pack up all equipment, floor and props. On Friday nights, we will load the trailers for the Saturday performance.

GCCIP has made the decision to compete in Independt A for the 2027 season! Making the decision to move from scholastic to independent has made room for us to add more schools for this experience!
